Phase 2 of the Health Workers Sensitization Workshop focused on ending Intersex Genital Mutilation (IGM) and Infanticide: the role of the health care service provider.
The workshop successfully got the participants to map out practical ways of ending IGM and Infanticide in their facilities. This workshop is part of a series to reduce stigma and discrimination in health facilities within the Accra Metropolis.

A forum organized by the Akoben Royal Foundation and the Department of Gender – Central Region educated Traditional Leaders in Agona Duakwa about intersex variations, aiming to end child marriage and cohabitation.
The event successfully changed mindsets, dispelling myths and increasing awareness of intersex variations, thereby reducing stigma and discrimination in the community.
