The induction ceremony by the Ghana Psychological Council at the National Theater of Ghana marked the official accreditation of the 10 community members supported by Key Watch Ghana to become Lay Counselors from the TUCEE Institute of Counseling and Technology.
These counselors are now equipped to offer support and guidance specifically tailored for intersex and gender divers persons, addressing the unique challenges faced.
This initiative highlights a commitment to community-led inclusivity and specialized care within the broader scope of mental health services in Ghana.
